Jennifer Hudson And Jamie Foxx Added To Inaugural Lineup

Longtime Obama supporters will perform at Commander-in-Chief's Ball...
The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) on Friday announced new celebrity performers for President Obama's inaugural celebration, including actor/singer Jamie Foxx and singer Jennifer Hudson, who will perform at one of the two official Balls scheduled for the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Monday night.  Like many other celebrities tapped to perform, including Beyoncé, who will sing the National Anthem at the swearing-in ceremony, both helped raise funds for the President's reelection.  

Among other outings, Hudson serenaded President Obama during his 50th birthday party fundraiser in Chicago (above), and she also performed at the White House for the State Dinner honoring India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh 

Foxx, currently starring in Django Unchained, lent his talents to a number of reelection fundraisers.  He and Hudson will perform at the Commander-in-Chief's Ball, as will Alicia Keys, Marc Anthony, Brad Paisley, and Chris CornellDJ Dan Moose will emcee.  Guests joining the President will be active duty and reserve military, Medal of Honor recipients, and Wounded Warriors and their spouses. A livestream of the event will be available online at www.pentagonchannel.mil.

Keys and Paisley will also perform at The Inaugural Ball, as will Stevie Wonder, Katy Perry, Fun., Black Violin, Soundgarden, Smokey Robinson, Usher, John Legend, Far East Movement, the cast of Glee, and ManáD-Nice will DJ.  The Inaugural Ball will use every Hall in the Convention Center.
