Pres. Obama's Schedule, Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013

Wreath laying at Arlington; White House swearing-in ceremony; inaugural reception...
On Sunday morning, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will participate in a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery at 9:05 AM.  At 11:55 AM, President Obama will be sworn in for his second term in office, during a small ceremony at the White House.  The First Family will attend the ceremony in the Blue Room.  There will be a livestream at WhiteHouse.gov/live.

On Sunday evening at 8:45 PM, the President and the Vice President will deliver remarks at an inaugural reception at the National Building Museum, joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill BidenClick here for the full schedule for Monday's inaugural events.

Vice President Biden will use a family bible.  Supreme Court Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor will officiate. Live pooled press coverage.

President Obama will officially be sworn in at a ceremony officiated by Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr..  "Surrounded by family, friends, and staff, the President will place his hand on the Robinson family bible, selected specifically for this occasion, and recite the 35-word presidential oath of office written in the Constitution."   


Inaugural Reception - 8:45 PM
National Building Museum
The President and the Vice President will deliver remarks at an inaugural reception at the National Building Museum. The First Lady and Dr. Biden will also deliver remarks.
